Queue
Queue bears the distinction of being the only word in the English language comprised of one consonant and followed by four vowels. It's as if all the underused consonants were sitting around the bar one night commiserating over their second-class citizenship status in the alphabet when "Q"got up and decided to do something about it. With the help of "X" and "V" he snuck over to the posh side of town where the wealthy vowels reside. He wrangled a couple sets of vowels, whipped them into shape, and made his own word - a word where he would come first and for once those vowels would have to wait their turn in line. Without irony, that is exactly what that word means.
